Finally others feel my frustration. I was subjected to a full body pat down on a flight from Mexico city to Phoenix. I was wearing flip-flops, and a portly woman told me to take off my shoes. I says no, I am not wearing shoes. My entire feet were in plain sight and these sandals were nothing more than some spongy something with fabric straps. She said they were shoes and I had to take them off. So I says why, you think I have a bomb in my shoes? This brought over the officer and drug sniffer kit and everything, including a full body pat down. If people wanted to blow up an airplane I'm certain they would have no qualms hiding explosive compounds in any assorted cavities.
